The ZKM | Hertzlab is the research laboratory of the ZKM | Centre for Art and Media Karlsruhe. It works at the interface of art, technology, and society, focusing on artistic and technological development. The transdisciplinary team creates installations, performances, instruments, software, and immersive sound spaces. ZKM | Hertzlab manages international residency programs, develops new performance formats, and enables artistic research beyond disciplinary boundaries.
