Zoomies started with a simple idea that became a problem: I wanted to capture my beloved dog's frenetic energy and shifting direction, and both stereo and multichannel felt insufficient as a result. It was the first time I used a first-order ambisonic microphone, treating movement itself as compositional material rather than just subject matter. So, the microphone became a way of thinking: a sensor with its own logic. (Stereo version is uploaded)
