Transceiver is a quadraphonic composition, an instrument and an artwork. The album is released as a double vinyl and encourages gathering, experimentation and collective listening. It reflects the evolution of communication over distance and highlights invisible glitches in miscommunication. Using a mobile recording rig, unique reverberation spaces were explored, replayed and mixed with on-site improvisations in various places and non-places in Vienna and the surrounding area.
