Superimposed holds sets of events inside one shared field. The events do not take turns. They occur on top of each other, and the piece asks what happens when nothing is arranged into foreground or background. Everyone sits inside the same structure, but the structure does not resolve the same way twice, and it does not resolve the same way for any two bodies.
