Moraine (2007) is a multi-channel tape piece composed with the author’s Cosmosf software and its unique feedback implementation. The software distributes stochastic events across multiple time scales. In this piece, the exothermic process of feeding micro-event signals back into macro events results in the gradual deterioration of icy sonic textures, evolving them into sonic moraines. It allowed a controlled randomness and transformation which let to render multiple passages of the software output and montage them later.
