Monique Jean is always in search of sonic materials that is energetic, harsh and raw, in the idea that the materiality of sounds gives access to the sensation and generates both feeling and meaning. Her current research involves multichannel spatialization, the continuous metamorphoses of the sound flow, the unpredictability and imperfection of which the living have the secret and that she finds in the improvisation with her no-input device: the Miss Take project.
