The piece is based on the soundscape of the Muchitsch Hof, Triester Siedlung, in Graz (Styria, Austria), recorded by the artist Conny Zenk. I used some short parts of the recording and transformed the sounds and movements of birds in this area, playing with similarity, realistic and artificial surroundings. The piece was originally produced as a stereo track for 3 groups of cyclists with mobile loudspeakers, driving through Muchitsch Hof, playing back the piece into its original environment as a mobile multichannel live performance.
