It Falls From Out The Woods

'It Falls From Out The Woods' began as a clarinet and modular synth improvisation between Elaina and Harry which they then turned into an ambisonic composition. The title and the spoken word during the composition come from the Violet Jacob poem “The Bird in the Valley” about loss and grief told through the analogy of a singular bird cutting through the dark of night. The composers, both being bird-enthusiasts and nature lovers, wished to write about the impact humans have on animals and particularly birds.
