Eyes Draw Circles of Light explores that brief moment when we are about to fall asleep and are unsure whether what we are experiencing is a dream or reality. Our awareness becomes fragmented, and sometimes it seems difficult to let the body and mind fall asleep. Breathing becomes more regular, but involuntary body spasms may occur, accompanied by the sensation of falling into a void. I aim to create a nocturnal and dreamlike atmosphere to immerse the audience in the tension between the conscious and the unconscious, the real and the imaginary, the reassuring and the unknown.
