BURST is inspired by a summer vacation experience in 2018, a canoeing trip on the Danube around the swampy Gemenc area in Hungary. One night while camping on one of the nameless islands on the river, we got hit by an electric storm. It came quite suddenly; after a short period of increasing wind and rumbles the rain fell suddenly as a thick blanket. The rate of lightnings was around one in every 2-3 seconds, striking down sometimes very close to us, probably in the vicinity of 50-100 meters from our tent.
