The CRANE lab is a research center for Heterotopia, Acousmatic Music, Volumiphony, Art Action & Ethics of Arts. Located in Burgundy in an ancient medieval castle, its 32.2 multichannel device welcomes composers in residence to create volumiphonic works. At the beginning of July each year, the « Rencontres Acousmatiques » event brings together composers, sound engineers, teachers and other interested parties around a theme, with round-table discussions and diffusions. CRANE lab's Acousmathèque is open to the public. Its collection currently includes over 75 multichannel works by composers from all over the world. Tracks selected by the team.
