Wei Yang is a composer/sound artist from China. Wei composes both instrumental and electronic music, through which he contemplates the body’s role in sonic production, the integration of various data from the environment, and space as an expression. His works were primarily composed with High Order Ambisonics, and have been performed internationally, at occasions such as BEAST Festival, NUNC!, ICMC, Sonosfera, Tomeistertagung, ORF Musikprotokoll, San Francisco Tape Music Festival, SEAMUS, Espacious Sonores, Festival Atemporánea, Nucleo Música Nova, and Ars Electronica.
