Music Innovation Studies Centre (MiSC), part of the Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy (LMTA) was established in 2010 as part of the project for the development and renovation of technological and informational infrastructure for creative and cultural industry studies and research, as well as artistic practice in Lithuania, with partial support of European structural funding. MiSC focuses on the development and implementation of new technologies for music creation, performance, and distribution, as well as the exploration of their potential artistic and educational applications. The center works with a range of national and international partners, including artists, educators, researchers, and industry professionals, to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation.
