The cultural association Institute for Sonic Welfare was founded in Graz in 2022 to promote interdisciplinary research and development in the field of spatial sound. Our team, consisting of passionate and committed individuals from diverse backgrounds, seeks to create the greatest possible overlap between contemporary art, science and culture. The aim is to push the boundaries of creative expression and technological innovation, with a focus on exploring the dynamic relationship between sound and space. Together, innovative projects are conceived and realized, and dialogue and exchange between artists from different disciplines in Austria and around the world are promoted.
