Dan Su (su dance110) is a Berlin-based transdisciplinary artist, composer and writer with roots in Yunnan, China. They work at the intersection of experimental music, contemporary art, and embodied research—through sound, movement, language, and material-spatial inscription. Grounded in critical embodied epistemic practice, Su’s work attempts to open up unresolved terrains of perceptual space, informed by their training in quantitative methodology and choreography. Su is the founder of 3087 Records for Acoustic Movies and has presented work across underground, institutional, and site-specific contexts in Europe, Asia and North America. Recent highlights include German Record Critics’ Award (album Persist in category electronic and experimental), and Sonic Mourning performance at Museum of Modern Art Warsaw (via Sanatorium of Sound).
