Nahuel Litwin

omposer and guitarist resident in Buenos Aires. He graduated with a degree in composition at the UNA (National University of Art) in Buenos Aires. He studied electroacoustic music with Ricardo Mandolini and Jorge Sad Levi. Took individual single classes with Tristan Murail (FR), Stefan Prins (BE), Francesco Filidei (IT) and Martin Matalon (AR/FR) and participated in masterclasses with Mario Mary, Adam Stanovic, Joao Pedro Oliveira and Hans Tutschku. He has completed the “Atelier Interpretation of Electroacoustic Music” at IRCAM during the Manifeste 2018 festival. His compositions range from a variety of acoustic ensemble formations to mixed, acousmatic and audiovisual music that often includes theatrical and scene elements. His pieces have been performed in France, Spain, Rusia, Chile, Japan, Italy, Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and have been interpreted by Syntax Ensemble (IT), Ensemble Proxima Centauri (FR), Ensemble Barcelona Modern (ES), Duo Zöllner-Roche (US), Ensemble Multilatérale (FR), Intertext Ensemble (RU) and Eugene Difficult Music Ensemble (US) among others. He has been awarded with several international awards like First prize in MA/IN 2024 Awards Festival, Matera, Italy; First prize at MID SIDE Prize from Empirica Records 2024, Italy; Honorable Mention in ‘Free Range’ Composition Competition organized by Alvarez Chamber Orchestra in UK, 2023; Honorable Mention in CONFINI International Call for Electroacoustic Chamber Music in Venice, Italy 2021;
