Yang Song holds a Doctorate in Composition and Theory from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and has completed her postdoctor there. She also holds a meister's diploma from the Hochschule für Musik Freiburg in Germany and has pursued advanced studies in electronic music at IRCAM in France.
