Michael Ryan is an active composer and performer working across a range of fields. His work primarily explores Deleuzian thought, focusing on concepts such as rhizomatic emergence, interruption, assemblage, and ‘machines’ within electroacoustic composition, performance, and improvisation. He is a former graduate of Creative Music Technology at De Montfort University, Leicester, and holds an MA in Electroacoustic Composition/Sonic Art from the University of Birmingham.
